Meerut is one of the prominent Center in the country besides Jallandher for the manufacture of sports goods. Recognizing the importance of the Sports Goods Industry, Govt. of India has set up a Process cum Product Development Center (PPDC) FOR Sports GOODS & Leisure time Equipment at Meerut , a premier National Institute, catering the technical needs of sports goods industry through out the country in collaboration with UNDP and Govt. of U.P.. The Center aims at up gradation of technology in the sports goods industry through induction of new technology, new products and improved designs. |
